Let me be the first to say, nothing & I mean NOTHING will make you take excellent care of your skin like an impending wedding.
That being said, my skin has never looked better & you better believe I’m going to take full advantage of that while I can.
This is my 5 minute, 5 product summer look.
*I’d like to take a second and give a shout out to my dad because he’s an avid reader of my wanna be blog & I’m sure he’ll suffer through this just to be able to say he read it. Love you, hope you get your glow on, haha!*
Our heavy weights today are Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer, Benefit Watts Up, bareMinerals Ready Touch Up Veil in Tan, It Cosmetics Brow Power in Universal Taupe & Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara.
First things first, concealer. I like to use it as more of a brightener so I tend to stick towards the center of my face, you know for dimension and blah blah blah. I used to use a beauty blender but I switched back to my trusty brush & I like the finish a lot better. — Blend gently in the under eye area, its a sensitive spot!
Once I blend my concealer in I go for that bronze summertime glow and follow along my cheek bone & temples. Take your time & really blend it in.. you don’t want that spotty bronzer, girl!
I’m sure you’ve noticed.. I don’t need much help in the brow department. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard “Brooke Shields doesn’t tweeze her eyebrows!” from my Mama growing up, ha! What was a curse then is a blessing now, all I have to do is fill a little bit towards the middle. BUT do whatever you please with your own!
I don’t care how bad someone told you this was for your lashes… I have pin straight hair and my lashes all but point to the floor, so use that curler baby!! Don’t let anyone and their judgy opinion stop you!
My favorite drugstore mascara because I can actually see a huge difference in lash length & volume when I use it!
My favorite highlighter because it doesn’t glitter and it’s not an overwhelming powder; benefit watts up highlight stick. I like to apply it to the bridge of my nose and the top of my cheek bone, then blend it in with this tarte brush.
And there you have it folks. A ridiculously simple summer glow using 5 products in 5 minutes.
& dad, if you’re reading this… you deserve a medal♡
